Founder and General Superintendent of the New Covenant Gospel Church, Benin City, Rev. Dr Felix Omobude has said that it is profitable for a man to live right as opposed to the seemingly prevalent corruption in the society today.
The popular cleric submitted that integrity is all that a man has, adding that if any man loses his integrity, such a man has lost everything. He maintained that a man can truly work with God using himself as an example.
Dr Omobude who is the immediate past National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN made this submission in Benin city recently when members of the Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists, NACJ, led by its General Secretary, Pastor Charles Okhai presented the “Integrity Man of the Year Award” to him.
He expressed gratitude to the association for identifying with his values and charged them to continue to discharge their duties with high sense of responsibility, fear of God and integrity.

Earlier in his presentation, the General secretary who led the entourage said the choice of Dr Omobude was strictly based on merit given his impeccable tract record.
Pastor Okhai referenced Dr Omobude’s eight years in office as the PFN national president where he left an indelible mark of integrity and exemplary leadership and charged other leaders to emulate him. He described him as a humble and unassuming man of God worthy of emulation.

“We specifically recognize and celebrate individuals who have demonstrated exceptional sense of integrity in their leadership capacities. As believers, we are light bearers and as such we must let our light shine forth and consume every shade of darkness in our society such that righteousness which exalts a nation would pervade in our society,” Okhai stressed.
