The first Wakiliyan Wagen of Komta, (global women leader of Komta),in Tangle kingdom of Gombe state. Engr. Faiza Umar has recently added another feather to her cap as the Sarauniyan Jinkai, the 1st of Tangle Kingdom. (Queen of Mercy).
Beaming with smiles at the 6th Annual Pissi Komta Cultural Festival in Tangle penultimately, the wife of HSM, Oba Aala Babajide S. O. Falade of the FCT, Abuja said that she relishes the celebration of another Pissi Komta festival which has become a symbol of love, peace and unity in the community.
“Today is another exciting moment in the history of Komta as the sons and daughters converge to celebrate and show love to their community. I am excited and pleased with the peaceful coexistence amongst all the tribes living in the community. The spirit of oneness and harmony must be nurtured to stability for the progress of the community”.
The women leader and Engineer par excellence who plies her trade at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC; stated that prominent sons and daughters of Komta both at home and in the Diaspora have come to realize the positive impact of the annual cultural festival in the life of their people as they step forward to contribute their quota to the development of the community stressing that, more must be done to fast track the development and growth of the Komta people.
In the same vein, the paramount ruler of the Tangle Kingdom, His Royal Highness, Dr. Abdu Buba Maisheru II, showered royal blessings on Engr. Faiza while crowning her the 1st Jinkai of Tangle Kingdom as part of the ongoing cultural festival sweeping through Tangle Kingdom.
In her speech, Engr. Faiza commended the paramount ruler for the love he has for his people and his giant strides at developing the kingdom stressing that the development of Tangle is a task for everybody. She promised to live up to the expectations of the people by exposing the potentials of the Tangle kingdom to the international community for investment to further create employment opportunities for the youths and thereby curtailing crime and criminality.
