About the Author, Peterclaver Egbochue

Peterclaver Egbochue is an ordained minister of the gospel in Faith Cathedral International Ministry, Lagos, Nigeria. He hails from Amakohia-Ubi in Owerri West Local Government of Imo state, Southeast Nigeria. He is a graduate of English Language from the University of Lagos. He is also a prolific writer who has written a number of books and still writing. One of his popular books is “Building My Tomorrow Today”, published in 2017. He believes that in the journey of life with all the distractions on the way, believers need to be constantly reminded to keep watch and be steadfast.

The Bible in Matthew, chapter 7 verses 13-14, says, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” This is quite profound and demands that believers should be guided by the word of God and seek to please Him at all times regardless of the situation we find ourselves.

He is the CEO of Great Future for Youth Initiative”. As a youth development expert, he has traveled to many cities in Nigeria organizing symposiums and talking to youth about the need to channel their youthful energy into meaningful activities that can be evaluated over a period of time to determine their level of progress.

The 21^st century youth are beset by recent innovations that they are often distracted and many of them believe that they could stumble on the wealth they did not work for. The result is an army of unproductive youth milling around and some of them resorting to crimes for survival. This state of affairs must be arrested urgently too.

He believes that the responsibility of building a great society behooves all well-meaning individuals to contribute their quota in guiding our youth and preparing them to be responsible adults tomorrow.
