
The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Owo in Ondo State have commenced a two-week warning strike.
Rising from an emergency general meeting, led by its President, Olaopa Olutobi, the Doctors decried government’s poor handling of matters on the health of citizens .
The health workers called on the federal government to do the needful by approving the waiver for employment of clinical staff in Federal Medical Centre, Owo.
They also called on concerned Nigerians to advise government on the need to urgently address the issues .
The doctors said congress will meet after the expiration of the industrial action to access and deliberate on the next line of action based on the situation on ground.
